Introduction
Dakshina Kannada, a historical holy place, known as Parashurama Srishti consists of various temples, mathas, Daivasthanas. Parashurama Srishti is a peaceful land created by Parashurama, a sage. Many temples, religious poojas, rituals and cultural and developmental activities are being conducted in the region.
Shree Vajradehi Dharma Kshetra is becoming a popular religious Kshetra in this region. Trikala Pooja is performed every day in this Kshetra and Annadana is served regularly. Thousands of devotees take part in these poojas. Annual Celebrations like Shri Ramanavami, Hanuma Jayanthi and Vajradehi Mahotsava and other Hindu festivals days are celebrated gloriously. Vajradehi Kshetra is located at Gurupura, 15 kilometers away from Mangalore city. It is situated on the banks of the holy river Phalguni on the National highway towards Kudremukha. It provides for a calm and quiet environment for religious enlightenment.
